Martin Bialas, born in Germany in 1963
Inspired by the informal painter Eduard Micus
At his Ibiza studio Martin decided
to become an artist at the age of 15.
1978 first works on paper with words as subject matter
1982-1986 Studies Fine Art at
St. Martin´s School of Art, London
1989 first solo exhibition at Hans-Jürgen Müller Gallery,
one of three most Avantgarde galleries of post war German art.
First large bronze sculptures.
1992 starts to make work under the open sky, first art trips
into the Sahara desert while traveling in his Land Rover
across Europe and Morocco.

Martin Bialas is pursuing his artistic endeavor in a nomadic way of life concentrating on private commissions between France, Spain, the Sahara desert and California.
He speaks English, French, German and Spanish
and lives on the island of Ibiza, Spain.
